I've always dreamt of having my own booth at any events.

But what I got was...

To do booth decor for others instead.

Yet still, I appreciate it because before I got my own booth, I am able to learn how to do a setup for a booth itself.

Fast forward...

2 years and a half after doing events, I manage to get a booth at Bazaar Lambak organized by Adex with the help of 2 other Yishun Mummies!

Alhamdulillah, we manage despite the hiccups we faced and almost being cheated.

Who are these Yishun Mummies?

Well, we are a group of Mummies that cheer each other up via groupchat and meetup whenever we can.

We share so many stories that makes our days or you may say, in sickness and health, we're always there to back each other up!

I am totally grateful to these group of Mums for all the help and sharings we do with each other.

The support from each other for each other is just so overwhelming with so much love!

Anyways, I'll share more on them soon okay?

For now, I wanna talk about our booth!

So we paid the deposit for a booth at Our Tampines Hub but after doing so, we decided to pull out and Atika was liasing with the organizer from the start so she was in charge of it all.

Halfway through, she couldn't handle it thus I took over to request for a refund and we manage!

In the midst of all that, I was complaining to my old friend Afan (only God knows how much I hated this guy back in primary school calling him 'anak mak').

So his dad, Uncle Rani is the owner of Adex.

When he first imported goods from Dubai in 2013, I supported him and bought a few stuffs (because Afan persuaded me to help promote though).

6 years later, seeing the items I bought still shiny as ever and being used by my Mums (YES! Mums because I bought them all rings), I am much grateful to them both as well.

And I have been wanting to follow Afan since his first Bazaar Lambak but there were so many obstacles thus I forego them all.

But this time, I manage to since he gave me a really good deal and location.

Explained to him our problems and reserve a booth for a day before we paid the deposit.

He agreed and within 2 weeks, we were able to pay off the full amount for the booth eventhough we were allowed to pay 50% deposit and another 50% before event ends, which we thought we couldn't pull off.

And its all thanks to our consignees who are very supportive of what we were doing.

Consignees?

What consignees?

Well, the thing is, we didn't have enough time to bring in our stocks therefore we decided to share our booth with others, offering a really good opportunity for them.

We gathered as much consignees as possible and hired a Sales Associate to tend to the booth.

We bought our booth stuffs all from Carousell to save cost and I eventually sneaked out a set of strud rod from site to make do our shelves.

Yes, I am that handy Mummy now though.

So if you wonder how our booth looks like, have a look below okay!
