Its been a while isn't it.

But we have been really busy getting the house ready within 2 weeks before Hari Raya.

And its no easy feat, considering I'm handling 4 active BOYS and still working fulltime plus tending to both Bazaar (gotta read my previous posts okay....Heeee.)

So I'm back here again to share so many interesting activities for Mummies out there who needs 'help' to get their kids settle down so you could get a peace of mind doing your housework.

And if you didn't know, I have been getting stuffs from IKEA since I started to DIY our house last year.

I had fun planning and drafting base on our house layout before I save up and purchase the items.

You should see and experience it yourself if you're into saving and doing DIY for your home.

I literally SAVE A LOT base on the quotation I receive to do up how I imagine it to be.

For the boys, I am into wooden Montessori style tools and last weekend while I was on Medical Leave, I dragged my Mother and Aunt (since she was having breakfast with us) to IKEA Tampines to grab some stuffs (SOME!) ending up with me spending more than both of them.

I got the boys a new darting set (I call it Fish but they call it Octopus).

WHAAAAT!

Heck it, as long as they know how to keep them in place after playing.

And I added the MALA Paint/Draw Storage (have been wanting to get these for so long but it was over the budget so gotta put it on hold) together with the MALA Drawing Paper Roll.

The idea was that I didn't want them to keep TEARING MY NOTEBOOK for blank paper and drawing anywhere.

They use to doodle on the wall (Mother's house) when they were younger so I STOP GIVING them pen or pencils or anything to write!

The only time they get to hold on them is when I am sitting with them and doing craft work.

Sooooo.....

Yesterday I was in a good mood (rare), I opened up the set and let them doodle on it.

Explained to them that they are only allowed to doodle on rolled paper, no where else.

They agreed but few minutes later while I was cooking, I saw colours on the floor!

I'm like....

"I TOLD YOU TO COLOUR ONLY ON THE PAPER!"

"WHY ARE THERE COLOURS ON MY FLOOR!"

And they go....

"OH OH. SORRY MUMMY!"

Scrambling to get wet tissue to wipe them off the floors.

Hahahaha.

Apparently, I wasn't that mad, I was just 'shocked' and gave them the idea,

"Oh. We cannot colour on the floor anymore. Okay, got it!"

So when I scream, it doesn't mean I am mad at them or I am always like that okay!

I am just giving the boys a heads up that what they do is WRONG!

Oh hey!

That MALA Drawing set is so good that I don't mind stocking the Drawing Paper Roll soon!

I don't really get what the side panels are for and I have ditched them into the art cabinet until I figure its purpose.

You actually just need to tear the paper from the top and you can start again on a new fresh piece.

But not my boys.

They decided to roll all back and keep coz they said their drawing is nice (McDonald's meal, Fish, Door, Bubbles etc).

As long you colour on the Drawing Set, whatever you wish boys!

Get your set here....

Really hope your little ones have so much fun like the #kbrothersbyna do these days!

Don't be afraid to invest on things that makes them to be more responsible for their actions and mistakes they do (like colouring on the floor).

Don't be a helicopter parent like I once was!

Take a chill and RELAX!

They need to learn from mistakes and at the same time have fun.

LET THEM BE KIDS FOR ONCE!

Love,

NA
