My second Fun Run but with a little twist - I brought my little 오빠 along with me!
Yup! This kaypo boy said, "You run 5km only Mummy? I also can lah. Next time can I follow?"- after I came home from the Great Green Run Fun Run and showed the boys my medal.
When I receive the email invitation, I immediately registered and did so for him too. Didn't tell him yet until the day of kit pack collection day.
Brought the whole platoon over to collect the pack at Shimano and went for a short walk at Kallang Wave Mall - our first trip there by the way.

The last time I went to Kallang was to see Kang Danial for his concert sponsored by VIU last year with our Princess!
It was a last minute sponsorship and luckily I have our KPop Princess to accompany me. Hehehehe!
I miss going to concerts! When will VIU be sponsoring our next concert??? I am waiting!
But definitely looking forward to OT7 comeback by the way! BORAHAE!

So anyways, it was a fun short trip and the boys were asking if we could go again because they wanted to play their roller skates and skateboards.
So the day came and 오빠 was super excited for it but I wasn't feeling so well and wanted to skip the whole run itself, just sleep in and slack. Yet I'm still a mom right! So I can't ignore his whinning of wanting to go for the run and seeing how excited he was for it.
He had already froze his drink, packed his bag, charged his fan and settled his outfit - but it just had to rain since morning, making me super super lethargic that day.
Around 2pm I told myself, just go and get it done over with, have dinner with just him and head home to sleep it off till the next day.
We got ready and head down to OCBC Arena, put on our bib and deposited our lucky draw slip before we went on to queue in the pen.

The carnival looks great but I just wanted to settle with the run and go home after anyways. But again, I am a Mom and I am with our 오빠, how can I ignore him right.
He was super excited to start the run, but I just had to tell him to stop talking because it will tire both of us especially me. Hehehehe.
The run started at 4.30pm and off we go! I was targeting to finish off the run the same time as Great Green Run timing - 1hr 30mins.
We reached the 1km mark and 오빠 said, "Mummy, my leg tired already."

This is my chance to tease him! "You say 5km only what. You can do it right?"
We continued and he was talking and talking non-stop. Overall, it was fun having him with me that day, something to keep me occupied and keep my mind away from being tired on my own. And he did all his #PapaoPose at almost everywhere he thinks that its cool to take a photo of.

At the 2km mark, he said, "Mummy, got bicycle." Hahahahaha.
So behind the 2km mark poster, there were those shared-bicycles lined up and he was hinting to use it which I told him, "Nope. That is cheating. We continue walking okay?"
So the posters became our motivation to find the next and keep going. But at the 2.5km mark he said, "Mummy, can we sit down first awhile. I am tired."
Of course I said, "No! If we sit, we will be lazy to walk after that and we will feel more tired. Let's just continue to find the 3km and then we can finish it faster and rest. You can do this 오빠!"
He didn't argue and we continued.
We had out bottles refilled and he asked for his #PapaoPose again. Hahaahah. This one just love taking photos!
We found the 3km mark and he said, "Mummy, once we cross the bridge is 4km so we got 1 more to go!"

Yup! Keep me motivated my boy! There you go! But he saw a tower and said, "Mummy. Can we go up there and take photo?"
Mak mane tak sayang anak walaupun dia kepala ade batu duduk kan. Hahahahaa. Mom! I feel you now!
So we made a detour before the 4km mark and went up that tower (I don't know what it's called, just go up take photo and get it done with)!

He was so happy went we reached the top and I was already shivering (old age catching up with me already)! There was a couple at the top and we seek help to take our photo.
I thought he wanted to have a rest at the top before we continue our walk but he said, "Come on Mummy! We finishing soon! Let's go!"
Eh! And here I thought he said he was tired earlier!

We continued walking and at the 4km mark, "Mummy, I not tired already. Can I play the bouncy castle later?"
"Okay can!" - so I can sit somewhere and rest awhile. Hehehehe!
We walked and walked and continued to finish our 5km!

He was super excited and said, "WE MADE IT!" We clocked less than 90 mins by the way - better than my Great Green Run timing!
That's my boy! We did it, together! I am super super proud of him that day!
