At this rate, my social media account will be a food blog account instead. Hahahaha.
But anyways, I'll just summarize two weeks' recess food because apparently I forgot to snap photos of it but took photos for my Instagram Stories instead. Meeh~~~
WEEK 37
On Monday we had Crab Leg Toast instead of Shrimp Toast coz silly me used up the whole pack of shrimp a day before only to realize that it was meant for Monday's menu.
For snacks, we had Kunafa (I'll share the video preparation and recipe soon okies - but first, get your Kunafa dough here!). Also, I added what was supposed to be Basque Burnt Cheesecake as well with sliced apples.

Tuesday was Fish & Chips day with lotsa fries. Made our mayonnaise sauce! And we love it!
I had mine with rice instead because I need my rice daily, with my salad on the sides and Fish-K Soup as well.
Then I had some free time after work the day before and made jemput-jemput pisang (smashed banana fritters?) batter. Fried it in the morning so I had two stoves, burning my fats that day. Hahahaha~~~ Joking! Joking! But hey, I did lose some weight you know! I can fit my old pants now! Wuhooo~~

김밥 was what we had on Wednesday because the boys have wanted it for so long and I wanted tarts so I baked tarts the night before and planted the chocolate together with the marshmallows in the morning!
The boys came home asking for more but sorry boys, it's mine! I brought them all the balance to work because I wanted it. Hahahaha.

They saw Thursday's menu on the fridge and BabyK was saying like, "Is it tomorrow's menu chicken wrap?"
Clever boy that one! But no no, I was planning for Beef Wraps instead. Though the younger boys still prefer Chicken Wraps instead of Beef Wraps so Mummy had to ask for their menu preference the night before, just like their burger menu preference.
What was supposed to be chocolate puffs turned out to be Chocolate Kuih Bahulu instead. My puffs didn't puff so it became flattened Kuih Bahulu and I made it into macaron-like instead. Yet it tastes so so good! Now I can't make it anymore coz I can't remember what mistake I made while making the batter. Sad much!

Nothing for Friday because there was no school - I think it was the PSLE Oral day and we all just slacked at home including me because my leg was in pain that day.
WEEK 38
Following week was a bit rushing as I was having a bad reaction to my medications but still puckered up to make the food for the boys.
Monday we had Soy Sauce Chicken Rice. Yup! They love it and this time, it's with the Hainanese Rice instead of white rice!
They came home looking for more BUT! I only made enough for our packed food. Hahahaha.

Tuesday we had Fried Maggi but because it was just maggi and fried, I had bibik to make it instead and I overslept! Got ready and grabbed my lunch box, headed down because my manager was already downstairs to pick me up. Hehehe.
Perks of living at the same estate. Saves me $800 of my monthly transportation fee.
Then we had another fried day with Fried Rice and the Chocolate Puffs Lil' Junior made the night before.
He wanted to make it so badly that he almost gave up since he can't use the mixer but had to whisk by hand instead.
But hey! he made it super good and looks good too - unlike mine that was fat-fatty like me. Zzzzz~~~~
Anything fried means bibik made it. Hehehe.

Thursday we see the Sushi Bake Cups again and this time I made more because the boys said it was easy to eat them up.
The night before, I made the Portuguese Tarts and they tastes so good - the boys don't eat egg tarts but this time they did and left me with only 6 pieces - I made 24 in total!
Then they came home asking for more but HEY! Why you all keep eating my food!
But then, I have friends to eat my favourite foods now so its much more fun to prep and make.

Friday was BREAD DAY!
What's BREAD DAY?
BREAD DAY means the whole meal was made out of BREAD and nothing was omitted out even when the sides was cut out, it was made into sweet cinnamon sugar croutons instead.
Made Biscoff Toast and Bread Crombolini. Had the sides cut to make it more 'aesthetic' arr and appealing so the boys will finish their food.
I prepped the Crombolini the night before and froze them because the last time I made them, it was so tiring as I had to rush to fry the toast and cut every single bread out and roll the bread into thin slices.
Then we ran out of bread and I still couldn't get to taste that bread crombolini because the boys had the balance for breakfast instead. Tsk~~~
So bibik fried some snacks for me instead and perk up a salad mix. I made that vege popiah as instants and with the sweet potato, I made them into instant nuggets. Totally forgot that we had my ugly dumplings! Hahaahaa.
