Eh no eh!

Its the famous Kak Wan Kuih Talam oi!

Sedap menggila.

How can it not be.

Its been 3 years since I followed Mother to sell the kuih talams which I didn't know how to eat in the first place but since she needed help, and I agreed.

2017, heavily pregnant with #lilprecious, still in the wake of depression...

Gigih saya pergi ke kedai tiap hari menjual kuih tau!

Even having my readers approaching asking if I'm the #kbrothers' Mummy and I said yes!

Wah sehhhh...

Saye sungguh jelek pada mase tu ehhhh....

I was so disorganized then.

Next day, I came all ready.

Neat and clean except for my apron which forever not clean by the end of the day.

Bazaar Raya Utara became our playground during Ramadhan since then (actually since 2010)!

Mother was selling Nasi Padang I would always drop by after school to get iftar.

I is still schooling okay!

Sooooo.

I started to eat Putri Salad.

Yes, I'm the Princess who eats herself!

Eh no lah....

Putri Salad (or some calls it Seri Muka - berseri you alls kalau makan kuih ni) is a two-layered dessert with steamed glutinous rice forming the bottom half and a green custard layer made with pandan juice.

SEDAP GILA - lembut and sedap gitu lah!

Melts in the mouth macam SinfulChocoTreats punya nutella tarts eh....

Tak bedek!

Then I had the other talams (anyways, it takes me a year later to taste the rest because I was incharge of the kuihs in 2018)!

I tak makan ini sebab ada kacang!

Ni same je actually dengan Putri Salad I tu, cuma ada kacang.

Yang ini lagi lah I tak makan.

Tekak tak boleh nak terima gitu....

Ini sedap!

Tapi part kena keladi tu, alahai.

Mak cannot lah.

Menyesal daku kalau tak cuba nya dulu.

2 tahun jual tapi tak favourite sebab nama nya Bakar Ubi.

I suka Bakar Pandan aje.

But NOW?

My #1 favourite oi!

Dari tak tau makan sampai dah jadi 'drug' needs!

Mesti amek a few if sampai kedai.

And nak tau tak, even #lilprecious pun pandai makan ni tau!

Satu packet dia boleh habis sorang, never leave for me!

Yang ini memang tak lah.

The name just don't feel right to be indulge in.

Ini sedap.

The taste just nice.

Not too sweet, not too tasteless.

This is red bean and honestly, I have never tried it.

Soooo....

I'm not sure how to describe this but its like the Pandan, just that its sweeter.

All time kids favourite!

This is not just Gula Melaka like the Putri Salad.

It has kacangs in it.

The original TALAM!

Plain and simple yet awesomely nice!

I am there full day on Saturday and Sundays okay!

Hahahaha.

But now everyday finish lah our kuih talam sebab ianya sedap!

Tolong jangan tanye kita mane satu sedap sebabnya, tekak masing-masing kan.

Aduhai lah sayang semua.

We have this awesome Tahu Ayam and Tahu Daging!

Sebab orang selalu borong tak tau ade kenduri ke ape hari-hari kat rumah masing-masing.

We have DENDENG DENDENG DENDENG.....AYAM MERECIK KATENYA sebab orang sanggup queue ni walaupun kena tunggu 10 minutes or even 20 minutes, especially our OTAH-OTAH!

LEKOR and VEGE POPIPAH!

Everyday I aim the vege popiah because its crunchy (of coz lah kan, Mother fry and not me. If I fry become hangus, burnt) and mampat!

Gedek-gedek you tau tak!

Hari-hari barang kita habis by 9pm so cepat serbu kedai kita k sayang semua!

But nak tau kenape kedai kita pack tak?

Because we work crazy and we are fun people!

Kau nak kerja serious?

Pergi kerja kat high court ke mane-mane yang perlukan orang serious k.

We work fun but diligently.

Semua gerak, semua buat kerja.

Tkde katenya, tu bukan kerja aku, tu kerja kau!
