막내 got for us tickets to places that I'll never be able to bring the boys because financially, I clear my bills and groceries and we're happy with that (I'm broke but I am not broke at the same time - you get it?) But to save up to places that costs a bomb, I can never be able to do so because not only do we need to pay for the tickets, the boys spends alot on food and drinks despite us packing food from home! They're growing and they eat all kinds of foods now, no longer those cute little boys who will eat fishball soup everyday!

They 'ketok' their grandmother on that day before going to Bird Paradise for snacks and drinks and whatnot. Hahahaha. Coz I literally said NO SPENDING that day!

In June, just nice for the boys' birthday month, 막내 got tickets to Universal Studios Singapore (USS) for ALL OF US and so we went and enjoyed the rides. The boys had so much fun, especially the older boys since they could ride the roller coasters and stuffs while Mummy accompanied 막내 for the little rides, though the elder brothers actually gave in and followed since I told them its thanks to him, we all get to enter USS as a family!

If you ask me how 막내 always gets free tickets, I am not sure myself but when he was in Sparkletots, someone from KidSTART@AMKFSC came over to do a routine check and since then, 막내 receives lots of free activities for us to attend.

And last month, we got tickets to Bird Paradise! Yeah! Though it was only 3 tickets - so I registered for 막내, myself and Lil' Junior, then I bought the senior ticket for Mother at KLook (guys, use my codes below for additional discounts!)

The night before our trip, the ex-husband said he'll pay for the rest of the boys including bibik so ape lagi, I go KLook and buy tickets again lor! Coz he went to KL that weekend. Zzzzz~~~

We left home at 7.30 am because we wanna catch the Wildlife Reserve Singapore Shuttle Bus from Khatib MRT which we missed because apparently, the bus starts operating at 7.45 am and not 8.30 am (think they changed the timing but never update the website or posters - LOL)!

So we waited and waited, then we hopped on the bus - it's $3 per pax including kids above the age of 7 too! (There are changes to the fare from today onwards - 1st October as per below).

Then we arrived at Bird Paradise - dah macam turun at Johor Checkpoint the feeling, underpass and 2-ways bus service. Hahahaha.

We walked and walked sampai sesat because the girl who held the poster to our supposed destination didn't stop us from going the wrong way despite us wearing the band (it was AMKFSC event so we got different coloured bands to wear to enter that early)!

We got to see the shows as a private event and we continued to watch the morning show after - which I was pissed off with Bird Paradise because we had to leave the auditorium at 11.00 am despite the next show being in less than an hour (11.30 am)- they said they wanna clean up the place - I don't remember being chased out from the auditorium when they clean up the place at the Singapore Zoo! And the staffs were not friendly either - you know the look you give when you are tired and hate coming to work kinda look - yeah! They have that look on them. But thank goodness the boys behaved throughout so I wasn't that pissed off pissed off or angry the entire time we were there.

After the show, we walked around for a little while and I got tired - didn't bring the wheelchair coz didn't plan to walk THAT MUCH!

While Mummy keeps asking to slow down or have a seat! Hahahaha.

Mother was happily looking around at the trees for FRUITS! HELLO!!! Forever with bibik looking for fruits on the tree! We come to see BIRDS laaa!

The boys read through the boards now, last time they use to just walk past but now they are eager to learn more so read yourself la hor!

Mummy tired to read for you already.

We rest for awhile, had our food that we brought from home (sandwhich, fried rice and boiled hotdogs), then we walk again and finally arrive at the Penguin Cove! And oh, we froze our drinks the night before too! Hehehehe. But the weather was quite hot that day so our drinks melted quite fast!

The entire journey was fun - because we took bus the whole time and everybody slept when we reached home. Hahahaha. That was how tired we were at 1.30 pm that day.

Looking forward to more adventure with the boys - wait till we each have our own bikes! Our target is to cycle around every weekend if Mummy not tired laaa~~~~ My body just gets tired easily nowadays.

Anyways, that's all for our Bird Paradise trip! So if you plan to bring your little ones or family for an outing where the kids will get tired upon reaching home, Bird Paradise is the go-to because there is alot of walking to do and the birds would sometimes chase you (kidding - but one of them did chase my gemok BabyK)! Hahahaha. Bergegar kejap when he runs away!
