So this year, I'm officially a Single Mum celebrating Hari Raya with them boys after 2 years of celebrating as it is!

As usual, I managed and the boys are 'well-groomed' (boys will be boys what 😑😑😑) with new outfits no matter what the situation or circumstances there is!

So there's a story behind our outfit!

Here we go!

Initially, we wanted to go really really plain jane and chose Mint cloth material, send for tailoring and that's it. But upon arriving at the said tailor, there are lots of left over cloths from my sister's tailored outfit so we picked Fuchsia for the boys' 'hidden pockets'.

*After 4 years, this is our first tailor made outfit*

Went home and Mother was throwing away her apparels; saw a Green Batik cloth, asked if she still want it and she said Nope. So again, brought the cloth back to the tailor and made it into my bottom instead.

Thinking that was it, as usual, bought another cloth for the boys' samping to sew on my own (perasan only lah, every year ask neighbour to sew coz I damn lazy)! This year, I chose songket for a change instead of cotton.

Kept it in our 'cloth department' for 6 long months and decided to send for tailoring only on last Monday, sadly our neighbour already kept her sewing machine and kits.

So I went to the market at the tailor shop and after discussion, they wanted to charge $350 for 4 samping (skirt type) and my bottom (because I mental ar, want to wear the same design as my boys since there's extra cloth)!

Hell NO!

Took back my cloths, went home and took out my sewing machine and sew my own 2 NIGHTS AGO!

YES!

The boys' samping and my matching bottom is SELF-SEWN by me 2 nights before Hari Raya, and mind you, its SONGKET material! Not easy as cotton material okay!

With the Mother busy cooking in the kitchen, I was messing up the whole living room with the songket strings that keep coming off!

Hahahahahaha!

Obviously, boys are sleeping when I mess up the house!

We are known for wearing matching outfits all the time! So instead of the initial PLAIN JANE outfit, there you go!

Our Mint Fuchsia Songket matching outfit for FIRST DAY RAYA!

As usual, no decent photos with them boys!

Clap for me lah okay! Coz I manage to clean the whole house, pack blessing items, check Facebook Messenger for address of the people to bless, scrub the toilet and SEW OUR LAST MINUTE OUTFIT CHANGES!

Mother? She cook only coz she have not cook for a MONTH! A month okay! We miss her cooking!

Don't ask or wonder how we do it!

Its just in me that if I want it, I will go for it and do it! No hesitation, no excuses!

Wanna know the breakdown of our outfit?

Based on 6 sets of outfits;

1 x Mummy 1 x Encik Supir (Grrrrr!) 1 x Encik Supir's Son 3 x #kbrothers

• Mint cloth: RM5.00/metre (Total of 24 metre @ RM120.00) • Songket cloth: RM33.00/metre (Total of 4 metre @ RM132.00) • Fuchsia cloth: RM0.00 (Leftovers from my sister's cloth she tailored) • Tailor Fees: RM165.00 • Fuchsia Chiffon Shawl: SGD16.00 (Errr, my niece bought it at Tanjong Katong Complex, cannot bargain sadly)

Total after conversion: Approximately SGD153.00

Yup!

I am a cheapskate Mummy! LOL!

Being cheapskate means the #kbrothers get more outfits and apparels.

My fussiness kicks in on Jeans and Shoes only okay! Other than that, SGD2.00 or SGD5.00 top also we wear!

We go Mint Fuchsia with Songket this year and the #kbrothers wanna wish all of our Muslim friends/families around the globe;

SELAMAT HARI RAYA MAAF ZAHIR BATIN
